Originally built around 1907, the San Pablo is a five-story flat iron historic building in downtown Oakland. The project consists of renovating 144 SRO units, conversion of 16 units to accessible units, updating all common areas, modernization of both elevators, addition of trash chutes, and demolition of the ground floor for new community spaces and management offices. The exterior work consists of paint and adding a GFRC accent band around the entire building.
